Carrier Heating and Cooling Systems for Mobile, AL
For nearly a century, the Carrier Corporation has been an industry leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative residential and commercial HVAC products. Carrier currently produces a complete line of heating and air conditioning equipment including central units, split air conditioners, air handlers, furnaces, heat pumps, package units and ductless split systems.
Carrier services markets in over 150 countries through its 80 international distribution facilities. Servicing Mobile, AL, Keith Air Conditioning is part of a network of 20,000 dealer-partners in North America. In addition to the Carrier brand, the company markets its products under different names including Bryant, Payne, International Comport Products and Totaline. In 1979, Carrier was acquired by United Technologies Corporation.

Carrier manufactures a wide variety of products designed for every budget, application and level of efficiency. Each Carrier model is distinguished by the Energy Star certification mark, which identifies equipment that complies with the rigid standards published by the Environmental Protection Agency.
- Split System Air Conditioners: Carrier offers split air conditioners for residential applications in capacities from 1.5-5 tons. System efficiencies range from 13-21 SEER, and the advanced Infinity Series includes models featuring a two-stage compressor. Regardless of the price point, each unit includes the WeatherArmor protection package and environmentally-friendly Puron refrigerant.
- Package Units: Package units are characterized by the inclusion of a condenser, evaporator and air handler in a single unit. They are designed primarily for rooftop applications when available ground space is limited. Carrier offers gas/electric, straight AC and heat pump models. SEER ratings range from 13-15.5, and furnaces have an AFUE rating of 80.1. For the ultimate in heating efficiency, hybrid units include both a heat pump and a furnace.
- Furnaces: Carrier builds rugged and dependable furnaces. Every model includes the Pilot-free PowerHeat ignition system, proprietary QuieTech noise reduction and ComfortFan technology. Advanced models are available with a modulating gas valve and variable speed blower for the ultimate in comfort and energy efficiency. AFUE ratings range from 80-98.5 for gas and 80-86 for oil.
- Split System Heat Pumps: Heat pumps offer the advantage of providing both heating and cooling from a single unit. A heat pump operates in the same manner as an air conditioner but includes a reversing valve that changes the flow of the refrigerant when the unit is in heat mode. Every Carrier heat pump features ArmorPlate coil coating, a special filter drier system and a 10 year limited parts warranty. Efficiencies for air conditioning range from 13-20.5 SEER, and HSPF heat ratings range from 9-13.
